Hi everybody, it's been a while since i posted or even stopped by......work,
school, house buying etc..... But I had a question about one of Mr. Pease's
In the course of my job I have to go to different states on business and just
yesterday I found a decent little tobacco shop in Montgomery Village, MD. It
wasn't a traditional tobacco shop in that it seemed to start out life as a
convenience store/pseudo head shop but amongst the national enquirers and
rolling papers, I found a decent stash of reputable pipes, tobaccos and cigars.
What really caught my eye was a shelf with 8-10 tins of Mr. Pease's finest on
it. I bought the two tins of Ravens Wing that they had and they both had 2001
stampings on them. Now I dont usually stray from my beloved 965 and Dunbar but
I bought the RW knowing that there are some among you who enjoy it. I don't
know if Greg is blending it anymore or anything like that but if someone wants
it, first come etc.......

I,too, just recently came out of the lurking corner. Raven's Wing is
one of my favorites. I even put a review of it on our CORPS website,
when we got a sample to preview several years ago. I found it very
smooth, with the latakia giving it a buttery sensation for the tongue.
I have a couple of tins left down in the cellar and now I may have
to go and pop one open just to remind me why I have been saving it.
BTW, I just finished a bowl of 965 in a Pete 999 I got from Bill
Eisenberg at our last show. Nice way to cap off and evenings smoke.
Hope to see you at H.C. this Tuesday for the Stokkebye event.
Good Smokes and pleasant dreams.
