I have a Savinelli Strait Grain Balsa system pipe that takes 6mm balsa
wood filters . I have been told that Tenon Extensions can be puchased
to take place of the filter. Does anybody know where I may aquire these
extensions ? I have looked on a few sites and came across only 9mm .
This is a wonderful pipe , I just dont like the filter ! Thanks

Hi Bob, asp,

So why don't you just smoke it without a filter?

Here in Germany appr. 90% of sold pipes have a filter chamber.
Although I don't use filters about 50% of my pipes have that chamber.
There is no problem with smoking them without a filter. This adapters
normally don't fit exactly and you'll collect a lot of dirt around them
and you'll have much more effort to clean the pipe.

The only problem with filter pipes is that smaller pipes look ugly with
that thick shank. But an adapter wouldn't solve this. :-)
