If you go to http://www.pfeifenbox.de you can see some of the brands in my
collection. Click on 'Die Marken' for this - the list is not complete
yet, with the Italians going up sometime today and the English makes
due for inclusion over the weekend.

Descriptions are in German, since part of the point is to introduce
brands less well known over here to German collectors. Basically, that
means US makers.

The photos are mostly by me and therefore lousy. Sorry. (No, I'm not
fishing for compliments.)

Click on 'Estate Sales' to view a couple of pipes still waiting for
buyers, whereas some of you my find your own sites represented when
you go to 'Links'.

A word on link policy: I've only included people offering either
information or not merely selling their own products on the general
link page. Links to carvers' sites are on the pages describing the
respective brands. Also, no pipes by carvers I've no first-hand
experience with are shown. Very few pipes I do not own are depicted
(the only exceptions at the moment are a couple of Talberts and an
Italian pipe I have sold).

Best,

Martin

Good on ya Martin!

It's nice to see a pipester over there, taking the initiative to let the
Europeans know there is a world of pipes being made outside the UK and
Europe Thank you!

John

It appears as though that this should have had an AD prefix. If I'm
wrong, I apologize.

I didn't use one because it isn't an advert. The site is for information
purposes.

Servus Martin!

I liked the site (probably because I could read the text...) and have to
agree with John that it's good that one of us is taking the initiative to
let the European pipe world know that there's something other than Danish
and English pipes out there.

I got such a laugh from "Sind die Deutschen nicht eigentlich Süd-Dänen? Ist
Ingo Garbe überhaupt noch deutsch?" That will make friends and win hearts
over on daft!

Hey, when are you coming to Frankenthal for the weekly Stammtisch?

Pax,

Uncle Jake

Glad you like it, Jake.

Frankenthal's quite a distance by our laty European standards, but I'll
try and get there some day.

Best,

Martin

While that is mostly true, you are selling estates there, and people
could consider it advertising... JMO, though...
