One prolific writer/smoker, who has accused everyone but the tobacco
companies she patronizes of lying, has prompted me to write this letter. Who is paying her, I wonder? She's spouting off all the same old lines the cigarette manufacturers have used in courtroom after courtroom for more than 50 years. It is obvious to me and, I hope, many others that she is parroting the same old song that is used as the excuse to smoke. Remember, a reason is something you can stand on, an excuse is for hiding behind. "[S]moker's rights." There is no such thing. I have no right to fresh, clean air? Now, there's a prime example of how stupid smokers can be. As long as smokers cannot come up with anything other than tobacco company propaganda, they have lost their case.
