Pretty much zero.
If there is any risk of the cigars going above 70F for more than a few days then yes... Put the cigars in a couple of ziplocs and freeze for 2 nights, then put in the fridge for 2 nights, then on the kitchen counter for one night, then back in the coolerdor. Yes.. Nothing to stress about. up Hmm... Never heard of a "thread." Weird.
