Default Cigar-friendly places in Las Vegas (cigar cigars)

I'm going to Vegas at the end of the month for a friend's birthday and I
was hoping to get some recommendations from the group regarding
cigar-friendly gambling establishments and also places to relax and get
a drink while enjoying a cigar.
Unfortunately, I've had negative experiences in the past, most notably
at the Sahara. Since it's his birthday, I'd like to enjoy some cigars at
some point, and I'd appreciate any suggestions on or within walking
distance to the strip. We'll be staying at Paris.

You can smoke cigars in Paris...done it many times. The microbrewery in
the shopping area of the Monte Carlo is a favorite of mine and there's a
fairly new Irish pub, Nine Fine Irishmen, in NYNY where I smoked a cigar
last time I was in town. It's been my experience that just about
everywhere - your Sahara experience notwithstanding - is cigar friendly in
some part of the hotel/casino. Most of the bad experiences I've heard have
been in poker rooms. If you enjoy a good steak, may I recommend Del
Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse....excellent food and they have a cigar
smoking lounge also.

I'm suprised at your statement about the Sahara. The Las Vegas Cigar
Summit has be held at the Sahara last year and this year with no
proplem about smoking cigars anywhere.

How long will you be there. Myself and another ASC'er will be there 03/05.
It'd be cool to meet some other ASC'ers!

Hey Langston,

I too am going to Vegas, but at the end of March. My first time there.
Also looking for information about a good place to get away to have a
relaxing smoke. Anyone?

What/where are the good places for eating?

We're staying at Bally's.

Bloody Mary's at the Bellagio -- they're absolutely the best. I had a
really great steak at the Luxor Steakhouse when I was there last month.

Enjoy!

How about the Venetian or Mirage? Where is Del Frisco's?

Thanks Kristine, all feedback is welcome and any tips and hints also. Hate
to look like a tourist when I'm, you know, a tourist.

Ok you don't want to feel like a tourist in Vegas and still want to
party? I reccommmend you head on over to Ellis Island for their 4.95
Steak special ( rare please) anytime you want. It is one block from
Ballys ( a long one) and has a brew pub and bar be que in addition to
a really great menu of wonderful food on the cheap. Not I repeat, not
a tourist trap.....
For smoking a cigar the bar in the paris casino ( I can't remember the
name offhand) and if you go downtown, Main Street station has a
steakhouse and the club car in it is completely cigar friendly...

You can go to Napoleans in the Paris since that is where you are
staying. Very cigar friendly, nice jazz music, comfortable chairs.
