Default OT: My, my how times have changed

I'm sitting here with Faithfuldog at my feet watching the NCAA final
four game between Ga. Tech and Ok. State. No big deal, you say? Well,
when I went to Ga. Tech there were no black students, much less fine
black athletes. There were no women in the student body.....we had to
use local high school girls for cheer leaders.

Basketball was not a game real Ga. Tech teams could play. I remember
it being a big deal when Ga. Tech was invited to the NIT for the first
time. Back then Ga. Tech was in the SEC, not the ACC. Football was
king and Ga. Tech went to a bowl game (and won) every year I was
there. I remember seeing Ga. Tech beat Don Meredith's SMU Mustangs,
and Joe Namath's Alabama "Crimson Tide."

Now look........Ga. Tech is in the NCAA final four with lots of really
fine black players, nice looking cheer leaders from the student body,
and me actually watching a basket ball game and rooting for the "home"
team."

I'm glad I lasted this long.

Yes siree Robert, I know what you mean!

I used to play myself. But since I'm only four foot three, and there's a
this stupid limit of max 4 Haitian undaed/team here in Finland, things are
getting pretty boring. The sport is plain stale right now. In the olden days
we just had a Zamboni driving around the court every five minutes to clear
of any extra limbs.

I have to find out where to get some of that Barbancourt you keep on talkin
about.

I'm not sure what a Haitian "undaed" is but I'm pretty sure it isn't
good. If you want some of that good Barbancourt, you may have to
come over here for it. I'll keep the guest room open, and Faithfuldog
will keep you warm.

Heh, heh, heh.

Ugh, OSU loses. The Sugar Bowl with OU and now the final 4 with OSU. I
hope Tulsa University wins it all this year with their golf team.
