Acrobat Pro continually asks me if I want to change the default PDf viewer from Preview to Acrobat Pro and I always click NO. How can I get it to stop asking me? I couldn't find anything in the prefs.

Jeremy,

The easiest way to get it to stop asking is to say yes! Ok that is not
the answer you are looking for. The problem may be that it cannot
remember your answer. Try deleting the Acrobat preference file. The file
may be corrupt.

You also might try CTRL + click on a PDF and then choose Get Info. In the Get Info dialog go to Open with: and choose Preview then click the change all button.

Good Luck!

Mike is correct, the only way is to click YES and accept that Acrobat is the default now. If I change the default in the Finder using Get Info, Acrobat will just pester me again.

Hi,

If the pdf file is really corrupt, you may try Advanced PDF Repair at
http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/ This tool is rather useful in
salvaging damaged PDF documents.

Hope this will help.
