Locate in PDF where font used?

I need to locate in a PDF file each instance where a particular font has been used. How can I search for that kind of formatting within a PDF file with Acrobat Pro? Thanks.

As you may know,you can view which fonts are used in a PDF by choosing File > Properties > Fonts.

There is no built-in capability for finding each instance of a font as there is in a program like InDesign.

There may be such a capability in an advanced Acrobat plug-in like Pitstop Professional, but I don't use it so I don't know. You could go to the Enfocus website and download the do***entation for Pitstop Professional and see if that's one of its features. (Of course, the Pitstop Professional plug-in costs as much as Acrobat.)
