First off, everything was working perfectly until i installed Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and updated.

I installed Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and updated, and now when i open Outlook XP and open a new message, it says Another program is attempting to access Outlook email addresses... blah blah"

I have word set as the email editor and no other changes have been made to this system. Will the acrobat modeules in word cause this warning? If so, how can i turn it off?

Try turning off Word as your email editor in Outlook.
