Default Page navagation help, archiving a catalog using pdf

Hello, I am in the midst of a project requiring me to create a digital version of some printed catalogs. I have decided to use acrobat to accomplish this, however I am having some trouble making the navigation of the document "user friendly"
For my end result I am looking for something similar to this product:

<http://www.octavo.com/support/v2/v2visual.html>

I would like to have the catalog be displayed in full screen while having navigation for next page, prev page, zoom in/out, and exit the acrobat reader.

Any guidance on how I can achieve this effect would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Bill

You can use links to move on to different pages, and button fields to perform actions such zooming in/out. The Properties menu allows you to define, amongs other things, at what magnification the document will be opened. Details in the Help menu.

I have figured out how to create the buttons to create the effects I want, but they all become part of the image, and when I zoom in the buttons zoom in as well, making them unusable. Is there a way to zoom only a certain area of the image. The link I posted seems to use a layer like effect using a book background as a template type image and the text inside of it is zoom able, leaving the navigation buttons untouched. Please let me know if any one has any ideas

Thanks,
Bill
