Default pdf works great on Mac, "damaged" on PCs

What format is the disk? Vista and XP can handle large files. It could
also have something to do with that type of DVD you burned as well as
the quality of the burn. Just like the early days of CDs, I've seen DVDs
that work on some machines that are unreadable on others.

Actually I don't know about the disk; it's a printable one with no info, but there were several other files on it that worked fine, one a small pdf which reader opened, and a .txt file which also opened fine in whatever opens these on the PCs.

Thanks!

Another point: There's a bunch of video clips embedded, each in two renditions: .mov and .avi, intending to allow non-Mac users to watch without QuickTime. Can't see why that would create a problem with the file opening, but I've never tried it before, either…?

How are you transferring the file? It could be getting corrupted during transfer.

Sorry, what do you mean by "transferring"? The files are on a DVD-ROM disc; it's the same files/disc in each test situation/computer. The large file works on Macs, not on PCs; the smaller ones work everywhere.
