Hi,

I read through the other posting about how the thumbnails disappear once the file it FTP'ed to the server. I'm having that problem - but Acrobat is not giving me the option of embedding thumbnails. I tried to get to it from the thumbnails tab as well as the top menu - but both are not highlighted.

Is there anyway around this or another place to embed the thumbnails? Any help is much appreciated.

Which version of acrobat are you using on what type of machine/OS? What is the application you're using to create the original document and how are you creating the PDF? Full details please, or should we start guessing about what you might have and risk giving you inappropriate advice that would waste your time?

Hi Ian,

No reason to start guessing.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat version 5.0. My operating system is Windows XP. I am using Micosoft Word 2000 for the original file then converting it into PDF format through Word.

Like I said earlier, I have no problems viewing the thumbnails locally on my PC but only loose the thumbnails when I upload. There is no embed feature "open" to me.
