updating acrobat

hi folks, i can't update my acrobat 8.1.3 to the newest version. i've got a mac pro quad-core intel and system 10.5.6 the error shows >Adobe Acrobat 8.1.4 (KB408682) konnte nicht installiert werden< (could not install for the rest of the world

Is there a solution for that problem? Thanks :-)

I am having the same error on a Windows XP Professional system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (But not in German ;-) )
