Default Helping depth of field

Hey all,

Do any of you have a tricks for making a camera's depth of field more dramatic? I've tried using lens blur on some object and animating that, but it takes forever to render, wondering what else y'all are doing with this? Animating the aperture works, but at the extremes I don't think it looks that real.

Hey Chris.
Set your "focus distance" on what you want to be sharp, and increase the "blur level". It goes well above 100%.

Heya Chris,

Maybe a little extra bloom on your BG objects?

Also found this plug while looking for bokeh a while back:
