Importing file problem

This is weird. I just opened After Effects to continue working on a project, and I can't import any files. Neither the menu command nor Ctrl + I is doing anything at all.

Anybody know what that's about? It's never happened before.

I've tried starting a new project, tried shutting down and rebooting, but with no luck.

Any advice much appreciated

try trashing your prefs (I think it is opt or alt-ctrl or cmd-shift when starting.)

On Win c:\docs settings\username\App Data\Adobe\AE - delete the files in there. When you restart AE, it'll create new ones and fix your importing problem.
