Default Insert Frames?

Is there any AE equivilant to Flash's "Insert Frame?" I have an project with audio files that have been updated. Because the new audio is slightly different in duration, I need to shift layers by a couple of frames. However, some of the layers just need the end point shifted, and not the whole layer. I find it amazing that AE makes it SO hard to tweak animations after they are completed, especially long complicated ones.

I agree..

Are you aware of the in/output shortcuts?
[ moves the inpoint to the current time

moves the outpoint " " " " alt [ trims the inpoint
alt ] trims the outpoint

You can use those on multiple layers, to trim all the outpoints to a specific time, for instance..

Also, alt pageup/pagedown will slide the layers to the left or right 1 frame. Hold shift for 10 frames..

Default Insert Frames?

Hi Mark! Yes, It would be a great thing to be able to insert frames like in Flash. In Flash its easy working with tweening. I think there is a logic problem doing the same in AE handling video clips. How would you "insert frames" in a video clip? Maybe inserting time would just move keyframes, but I don't know if that would be better...
