A file changes its association...what is happeniong...??

I worked on a picture in PE2 and stored it in JPG.
I then sent it to someone as an attachment to an e-mail.
The receipinat sent it back to me and I received a file named:
"winmail.dat" - which I can't open...??

Does anypone have a clue ...?

BTW- it doesn't open with the command: "open with".
