Compatibility Issues between PS5 and Photoshop Elements

Does anyone know of any issues regarding Photoshop and Photoshop
Elements? I am experiencing color problems, and when I import a scan
do***ent from PS Elements to Photoshop, I get an error message that says:

CONVERTING COLORS

Any help would be appreciated!
