Photoshop 6 - Tool select is disabled

Trash Prefs.

If you can, upgrade to 7 and get the heck out of Classic.

I am using Mac OS X 10.2.8 on a iMac DV SE with 640 MB of RAM. I have obviously hit some key combination or preference to disable tool selection. The cursor stays on the pointer, but won't act like it. I can choose, but I cannot use any tool. Can anyone tell me where to find the unlock? Thank you for your time.

Tried the prefs. Can't upgrade quite yet. Do you think reinstalling would help?

At least make sure you have upgraded to 6.0.1.
