TIFF file to GIF file

Is there a way to convert TIFF files to GIF files? Also is there a way to convert GIF files to TIFF files?

Open the file, save it to the other format.

How is it done?

Remember though, that making a GIF from a TIF will require changing the mode to indexed color, which has only 256 colors. This will result in a loss of quality.
