monthly updates only now, except for emergencies. secure computing and all that. now all a hacker has to do is wait until the day after the patch release before hitting an exploit. <sigh>

In the last 30 days, I have had probably 20 updates from Microsloth... I
had 10 days in a row that every time I booted in the morning I had
another update!

Well considering that it has taken Microsoft nearly 7 months to produce the
latest critical security update after being notified of the security hole,
it's a wonder two or more EVER arrive on the same day.....

Well now they've got (at least part of) the source code, so who knows
what's around the corner... more and more I'm so glad I use OS X at
home and really just don't have to worry about any of this crapola.
