GoLive crashes when I delete an image

does it happen in a new user?

Yes, it happens with a new user.

No, it happens on various pages for various clients.

UPDATE:

I've noticed a difference. Apparently it crashes more readily when there's actions applied to the image. I was able to safely delete some of the images when I removed the actions from them and made sure they weren't linking to anything.
