In a previous version of GoLive I would just select the text, cut and paste the url into the inpector and the link would be active. That doesn't seem to work in GL9. When I do that the url appears in BOTH the inspector and the page I am working on, replacing the selected text. The only thing that seems to work is if I type in the url manually into the inspector. Must be something simple I am missing.

I'm not able to reproduce that in GL9. If I select text on the page, then paste in an external address in the top link field in the Inspector, it converts the text to a link with the pasted content as the URL (without changing the actual text). Are we doing something differently (other than me being on a Mac)?

Right. That's what I'm doing. The url does get pasted in the inspector, but it also replaces the highlighted text! Weird!

Yep, definitely that. Does it have the same issue with other pages and links, or just that one? Is anybody else using GL9 Windows and getting the same problem?
