Hi Chad. Can you post a link to your test page so we can see what's up?

Chad,

Something has fubar-ed the line endings in your HTML files. Effectively, that is preventing the rollover code from being recognised. Presuming that the same thing happens if you use an external library for the javascript instead of writing it to the page (the external library being by far the preferable option), then the first thing you might try is to go to GoLive > Web Settings > File Mappings; find the HTML and and JS extensions, and set the *transfer* type to binary instead of text. Re-upload the pages. Does that solve the problem?

It's taking longer to load because the preloaders are actually working now, and those images are being loaded.

Given that the site is graphically intensive, there is a certain loading time. There are also other things which require sorting out as well. If I navigate to this page for example:

<http://www.sarnowskidesign.com/weblinks/baby/SITE/babyboutique.html>

the link to the external JS library is to your local hard disk:

<script type="text/javascript" src="file:///Users/chadsarnowski/Library/Preferences/
Adobe/GoLive/Settings7/JScripts/GlobalScripts/CSScriptLib.js"></script>

You need to open and check those pages, and if they refer to the local script library make a change to the actions on the page and resave, but make sure that you do so with a GoLive site file open in GoLive for the site.

Default Rollovers

I am on the last leg of my website and now I'm creating rollovers for my gallery...

The thumbnails and swap are in place but when I enter # into the link tab, the image thumbnail I have selected turns into a jpeg icon. When I preview the page the thumbnails aren't visible but the rollover works if I hover the mouse in the right spot.

anyone know what's going on???

All, Krista started her own thread here: <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bc2d69c>

It would be better to keep any responses there.

I would like to respond in the other thread but it doesn't seem to exist.

Krista, it sounds like you put the # in the wrong field.

The link to the image goes in the Inspector > Basic Tab > Source field

It sounds like you put the # there replacing the link to the image.

Put the # in the Inspector > Link Tab > Link field (the top field)
