Default Site ÷ Server Synchronization Utility

I'm wondering if there's any utility out there that could be used for keeping one's local site files sync'd with what's on the server, and visa-versa. I know this function is built into GoLive (and probably most any Web development application), but for some inexplicable reason this function is not working properly for me since I re-installed my GoLive s/w on a new computer (more eplanation here: <http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b4e7e2/0)>.

Actually, these days, I primarily use GoLive to accomplish the sync'ing. And I'm not about to purchase a new s/w package just to accomplish uploading and sync'ing.

So, I'm wondering if there might a tool out there that would help me accomplish this; a tool for little or no (as in freeware -- yeah, perhaps I should dream on!) money.

Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd be most appreciated.

Thanks,
—JM
