Default Video Sizing

Hi Folks

Im trying to set up a "Showcase page" that will have lots of videos on it.

The videos live on various servers and they are all various sizes.

when I drag an SWF frame on to the page, I can't seem to find a way to get the video to play at a fixed size.

also some are Quick time, some are SWF etc.

eg 350 x 270 would be good standard.

is it possible to get them all to play at one standard size?

best, M/

Are they all encoded to a standard size? You are wasting bandwidth if you are trying to display a larger video in a smaller window. I'd start with getting all the videos into the same format and size.

Jim, the videos are on YouTube and Blip Tv - larger format.

I didn't think bandwidth would be an issue because they live on other servers?

Don't drag anything golivey on your page. This is a source-code issue.

You should be pasting the HTML that YouTube and Blip.tv provide. When you obtain a video to embed on these video sites, they allow you to choose various resolutions for the player. Just choose a common size. You can also tweak the provided HTML to your preferred size.
