Artifacting in Illustrator 10
I have some objects in a large Illustrator file that seem to have tiny "strokes" around their edges, even though they're not supposed to be stroked at all. You can see an example in a close-up image:

If you notice, you can see some weird artifacts around the pink object in the middle of the image. This purple hairline is visible when viewed at any magnification. My first inclination was that it was simply a quirk of the way Illustrator draws things...but this dark hairline is -actually- in the file. When I view the file in Apple's Preview, it's there. Stranger still, when I reverse the fill and stroke colors on the object, the interior becomes purple, even though it should be transparent! (Where it gets the purple from, I have no idea.) And when I view the object's "attributes," there's nothing unusual there.
Has anyone seen this? Is there a way to fix it?
I'm using Illustrator 10 for Mac on OS 10.3.3.
Thanks.
