Default How can paths be exported from Illustrator CS to InDesign CS?

I'm having problems carrying the paths over to Indesign while still retaining the actual paths. The image carries over but the paths are not usable. It's just a bitmapped image. Any help?

You need to go to Illustrator > Preferences > File Handling & Clipboard and check AICB. Now copy the paths and they'll be editable in InDesign CS.

Pedro,

I have found that complex illustrations do not copy over to InDesign very well. If you have complex art, I suggest copying it in sections into InDesign. Once they are copied over you can usually un-group and edit.
