Illustrator 10 does not support Preview

Every time I use the preview option when about to print using Illustrator 10 and Mac OS X Panther version I get the message Illustrator does not support the Preview option. printer is Stylus 1290

any ideas

Trash your preferences and repair the permissions this sounds like a permissions problem.
