I don't know CS, so take this with a grain of salt.

Maybe you jumped to view Outlines by miskake? Or maybe the new 3D thing everyone's talking about?

Sorry, just a shot.

Default Lost selection marquee

This is a waste of time-I'm working on a job due in two days, and suddenly I can't get a selection marquee with the cursor. I'm flying blind. the lines and shapes are selected, but I can't see any hairline of layer-color running down the middle of the line. . so I can't tell when a line is selected, other than the fact that it moves when I move it. I've trashed the prefs, shifted to a new identity on the computer, but it persists-so it's probably something built-in to the program, but I have no idea what it is. I've been using AI since 1987, and this is a first. I's going to have to go back to AI 9; I can't wo5rk with CS.
