Default Opening 3D art in Photoshop!!! PROBLEMATIC

I have used some hi-res images copied to the symbols to map on a 3D extruded box in AiCS. The final image looks all but 72 dpi (very crude looking). Is there a way to render higher quality so I can actually use the final images for something?

thx

Choose Effect > Do***ent Raster Effects Settings and change the resolution to 300dpi.

Smooth Mordy!
Now, will that affect all other placed images in my file? I am assuming that should stay set at 300dpi or greater. There are some gaps/white edges.... is there a way to minimze this?

thx

This resolution setting will only affect objects with effects that require rasterization. It's a single setting that applies to ALL such objects in your file (you can't have some effects at one resolution and others at another resolution unless you expand them). All other placed images on your file that exist on the artboard will reproduce at the resolution in which they were created. Where are you seeing the gaps/white edges? That may have to do with the flattener setting you're using.
