Pen tool is only showing crosshair icon

How can I get it to show the pen tool icon instead of this crosshair icon? Is there a setting that I can change, can't remember this being a problem before?

Press Caps Lock.

COOL, Thank you. Any reason why I've never noticed this before, I mean, I can't imagine that I've had Caps Lock on every time I use Illustrator.
