Transparency Printing

Hi,
We have just updated to a Canon ImageRunner C3200. Now we are having all kinds of problems with Spot color gradients. In the white papers I read that there are devices out there that handle TRANSPARENCY...is this true?

Has anyone had problems printing spot color gradients set to overprint and blend with underlying PMS gradients?

Well, this would depend if your printer shows trapping. Does it?

If it does, you need to set the white value as the spot color of 0%. This should work for offset printing. Flexo printing is a different story.
