Deactivate and move to Leopard, same Mac?
Something ya'll might find interesting.
From post #3:
Yes I would deactivate. When I installed(A & I) Leopard on my Laptop,
I did not deactivate CS2. when I fired CS2 back up it was deactivated
and I had to reactivate to use. It has not caused any problems for me
But deactivate as a precaution.
I was having some minor goofyness on the G5 (main work machine) so I decided to reinstall Tiger (took just over 30 minutes with an A & I). I forgot to Deactivate CS2 and CS3. After updating and getting back to 10.4.11, when I fired up CS3 it just worked, when I started CS2 I needed to reactivate just like on the Laptop after installing Leopard. So there is a difference between the two Suites when it comes to Activation.
