Default Export to PDF on long do***ent dies half way through...

I am generating a Hi-Res PDF from InDesign with imported files from Illustrator that has embedded images from Photoshop.

Once created, the HR PDF has some light lines around a few (but not all ) of the imported elements.

The thin line appears not only on screen but in the film.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thank you.

Rich: How much RAM do you have? Sounds like a memory issue or possibly not enough room on the disk.

Clark: do a search for "stitching" or "white lines in PDF". Discussed frequently. For starters, export to Acrobat 5 or higher and see what happens.

Richard S. - I have 9 GB RAM and 350+ GB on a 500GB drive left. Can't be those. Adobe seems to think that it's my e-SATA drive (wired right onto the motherboard not a card). They wanted me to move everything to the internal drive. I said what's the point... they're both wired right to the motherboard? Seems to be an Adobe problem. They shouldn't make features available that don't work 100% of the time.

Could be that the OS or app interprets the data better from the internal drive. Don't know until you try. What size is your file? ID has a 2GB limit. Could be that the file spooling in the background + size of actual file exceeds 2GB limit.
