(the other) mark

I'm working with ID CS2 and am doing an annual report with 1000
pictures. the images are slightly different size than last year and
rather than re-placing 1000 photos i'd like to copy/paste and resize
the images -- then move/resize content if necessary.

the only way i can find to do this is to figure out the percentage
change and use the scale tool w/ "scale content" unchecked.

is there not a way to -- like i can with text frames -- to change the
measurements of a frame via the top toolbar and NOT have it resize the
content?
