Errors while converting word-doc to pdf

I get the following errors while creating pdf from word documents; An error occurred while creating threads. After removing the preference for this setting within word (Change conversion settings -> Convert linked text boxes to article threads) - the problem seems to be solved, but I guess I am loosing something if I have text-boxes in this situation.

The second error is; An error occurred while converting Document Information. It seems that it is possible to come around also this problem after changing the conversion setting -> deactivate "Convert Document Information. Know I guess I am loosing the "document information", so the solution doesn’t seem to be good. I still get these errors while converting from word to pdf directly in explorer (right-click->convert to....), so it only helps when converting from open document in word.

I have removed and reinstalled Acrobat and Office without success. I have XP-home, Word 2000 and Acrobat 6.0 prof.

I have spent several hours trying to solve this problem, and I will be grateful if there is somebody who can help me.

It did work earlier ! I am not sure when or what I did, making this problem appear, but I suspect on of the automated updates for Acrobat to be involved. I can`t remember the name of the update but I think it was something with either -star, -space or similar in the name (??).

Sorry - the name of the update is "atmosphere". Now I have also installed the 6.01 patch - to check out if it could help, but the problem still persists. I also tried the "detect and repair-function" within Acrobat without help.

Go to Start>Run, then type in regsvr32 scrrun.dll.
Launch word and try to use pdfmaker.
If you still get "error creating threads", repeat above to register the dll again.
