Top of the Hub
Had pre-Pops dinner at Top of the Hub last night. Gorgeous night and we had
a private room for our party of 12 and the view was wonderful. I had a duck
confit appetizer and a sirloin steak. The duck confit was delicious. I
only got the sirloin steak because the waiter said it was the best thing on
the menu. I know that wasn't true because the duck confit was 100 times
better. The steak was bland and overcooked. Service was a little odd, with
the waiter commenting on the designer of a couple of the women's purses (as
in, "My, I recognize a Judith Lieber bag when I see one!"). But the drinks
were good and the view made it all worth it...since someone else was footing
the bill for the party.
