We attended the opening party at Bouchée last night, a new urban brasserie
on Newbury Street near Dartmouth St in Boston's back bay. It was a mad
house with hundreds of high-powered guests in attendance acting very
entitled. Bouchée is owned by the Back Bay Group who runs many restaurants
in Boston including Abe & Louie's, Atlantic Fish Company, Joe's American Bar
& Grill, Papa Razzi and Charlie's.

Ted Kennedy and his entourage were there. My former executive chef Owen
Tilley is the now the executive chef at Bouchée. Owen was the chef at the
Kennedy compound during the Democratic National Convention.

I believe the restaurant is open for business as of this evening. I assume
it will be a success given the fanfare I witnessed.
