Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 cup butter flavored shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix sugars, shortening, and vanilla until blended.
Add egg and mix well.
Mix in remaining ingredients except chips.
Mix in chips.
Drop onto cookie sheets and bake for 9 to 12 minutes.
