Peanut Butter Squares 2

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups cornflakes
1 cup crispy rice cereal
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons cream
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 ounces semisweet chocolate

Heat brown sugar and corn syrup to melt.
Beat in peanut butter and vanilla.
Add cornflakes and crispy rice.
Mix well and pack into a well buttered 8x8" pan.
Icing: Boil brown sugar, butter and cream for 3 minutes. Cool. Beat in
powdered sugar until of a consistency to spread. Spread on bars.
Melt chocolate and spread on icing.
