There will be an Apple Day on Sunday October 15th at the RHS garden,
Rosemoor. The bumph says: "Sunday 15 October 2006 - RHS Rosemoor, nr Great Torrington - three apple displays from RHS Garden Rosemoor, Thornhayes Nurseries, and RHS Garden Wisley. Apple tastings; identification* by the South West Area Fruit Group; apple pressing; local apple products including cheese, cider and juice; advice on growing apples; apple cookery demonstrations. A Food Marquee will showcase over 20 producers from across Devon including local cider producers who will be running a new cider bar.
