There will be an Apple Day on Sunday October 15th at the RHS garden,
Rosemoor. The bumph says:

"Sunday 15 October 2006 - ****ington Court, ****ington, Torquay - this is
****ington's 14th annual Apple Day celebration and will include the usual
apple antics. There will be apple bobbing, orchard walks, children's apple
crafts, cider pressing on a Victorian cider press and an apple room with
over 200 varieties on show. A Food Marquee will showcase over 20 producers
from across Devon including local cider producers who will be running a new
cider bar. Visitors can also get stuck in to apple bread making in a clay
oven and enjoy music, morris dancing and a fine juggler. ****ington Court is
a stunning 450 acre Country Park and 17th century Manor House in the heart
of Torquay. All proceeds go to conservation charity the Torbay Coast and
Countryside Trust. Admission £3 adults, children free. Free parking.
