Best Thanksgiving Stuffing
1 loaf Honey Wheat Berry Bread
2 cups (4 sticks) butter
2 eggs
1/3 cup chicken/turkey broth
1 medium onion
3 diced jalepeno peppers
6 chopped radishes
1 minced leek
1 chopped carrot
1/2 cup minced scallions
1 tsp fresh sage
1 tsp fresh rosemary
1 tsp fresh thyme
1 Tbsp minced garlic (to taste)
Tear bread into small pieces and toast in oven until slightly crunchy
Melt
butter in large saucepan Add onion and garlic and saute until onion is
tender Add spices to butter mixture and stir well Add scallions,
jalepenos, leek, radishes & carrot and stir well Add bread to mixture
and
toss well Add chicken/turkey broth and toss add 2 well beaten eggs and
toss until bread is fully coated and all ingredients are mixed
consistantly throughout the mixture. Stuff inside turkey before
baking it
and/or cook in separate baking tin alongside turkey.
Be sure to save some to eat with turkey soup the day after
Thanksgiving!!
