Cajun Corn Soup w/lefotver Ham

1 cup chopped onion
1(6 oz) cn Tomato paste *
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 pkg fzn whole kernal corn*
6 green onions, sliced (16 oz)*
3 cups cubed cooked ham
1-1/2 lb fully cooked smoked sausage*
3 cup water*
1 cn Cajun-style stewed tomatoes
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (to taste)*
14-1/2 oz salt (to taste)*
2 cups chopped peeled tomatoes
Hot pepper sauce (to taste)

In a lg kettle or Dutch oven, saute onion, green pepper & onions*in
oil until tender (abt 5 min). Add flour; cook until bubbly. Add*water,
stewed AND chopped tomatoes & tomato paste; mix well.*Stir in corn,
ham, sausage, cayenne pepper, salt & hot pepper sauce.*Bring to a
boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 1*hr,
stirring occasionally.
