Candied Walnuts
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 cup walnut halves Bring sugar and sour cream to a boil in heavy saucepan, stirring constantly. Cook to soft-ball stage. Remove from heat. Add vanilla; beat until mixture thickens. Add nuts and stir until well coated. Turn out on greased cookie sheet and separate in individual pieces. 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 Tablespoon butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups walnuts, halved Combine all ingredients except vanilla and nuts. Simmer on low heat until soft.
