Request From: "Rosalind Alvarado" <baqpcvmkswb@hotmail.com> These are
little appetizers you make with tiny green olives. They are wrapped in a
pastry crust and baked. They are go good, I would like to make them for
myself.


Olive Cheese Ball

2 cup grated sharp cheese
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
Dash of garlic salt
3 to 5 dashes celery salt
2 Tbsp. finely grated onion
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped olives
Chopped pecans or parsley
Mix all ingredients except pecans. Make into ball. Roll in nuts. Serve
with
crackers.


Olive Filled Cheese Balls

2 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup flour
Dash of cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. celery seed (optional)
2 (3 oz.) jars stuffed olives

Mix the butter and cheese until smooth. Blend in the flour, cayenne pepper
and celery seed. Shape 1 teaspoon of the dough around each olive to form a
ball. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve hot
or cold.

Bleu Cheese - Olive Ball

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 Tbsp. brandy
4 oz. pkg. bleu cheese, crumbled
1 Tbsp. chives
1/2 cup finely chopped ripe olives
1 cup chopped pecans

Combine first 3 ingredients; beat at medium speed of electric mixer until
smooth. Add bleu cheese and beat well. Stir in chives and olives. Mixture
will be soft.

Shape mix into a ball and roll into pecans. Refrigerate several hours or
overnight. Garnish with olives and parsley.

Hot Olive Cheese Balls

1 stick pie crust mix (pie crust mix for 1 shell)
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese (1/4 lb.)
1/2 tsp. paprika
24 stuffed olives

Mix together pie crust mix, cheese and paprika. Wrap each olive with a
teaspoon of dough. Freeze cheese balls. Bake frozen at 400 degrees for 10
to 15 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Serve hot with toothpicks.

Olive Cheese Balls

2 cup shredded sharp natural Cheddar cheese (about 8 oz.) 1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, melted About 36 pimento stuffed small olives, drained Mix
cheese and flour. Add butter and mix thoroughly (if dough seems dry, work
with hands). Mold 1 teaspoon dough around each olive, shape into ball.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Bake 15-20 minutes. Makes 3-4 dozen.

Olive - Cheese Balls

1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup (6 oz.) Monterey Jack cheese, grated
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sm. pimento-stuffed olives
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. fine, dry bread crumbs
Paprika

Cream butter and cheese; add flour, mixing well. Shape a small amount of
dough around each olive, covering it completely. Cover with bread crumbs.
Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Place on ungreased cookie sheets; bake at
350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm. Yield 3 dozen.
