Default FA Vintage Bakers Baking manual confectionery 1900 s

General Shop Goods by "Masterman" Being a Collection of Useful and
Tested Recipes for Every Day Trade ,undated, but I would guess to 1890s
or very early 1900s.VGC, 336 pages.

This is a proper victorian bakers craft manual as opposed to a home
cookery book, one of the best and most thorough I've had ,packed with
recipes, and some really advanced bread recipes, fancy twists, motto
work, ornamental ,including the Royal Crown, which the author tells us
is so complicated as to be rarely worth doing! Also masses of
buns,ginger & short breads,cakes, pies, tarts,Christmas goods,
meringues etc etc.
