Greek Salad Dressing
Greek Salad Dressing Greek Salad Dressing Greek Salad Dressing Well, you didn't give us much to go on... ;( Most Greek dressings are just olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. (A lot of Restaurants here in the US use an Italian Dressing!) Here are a few Greek Salad Dressing recipes. Let us know which one comes closest to the one for which you are looking. Greek Salad Dressing 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves or basil leaves 1 clove garlic, finely chopped Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well blended. Greek Salad Dressing 4 tablespoons lemon juice 4 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese Combine the lemon juice, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder in a blender. Start blending, and slowly pour in olive oil. Turn blender off and stir in feta cheese. Refrigerate. Greek Salad Dressing 1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1 Large Egg 1 1/4 cup Salad Oil 1 Tbsp White Vinegar 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice 6 Cloves Garlic, finely minced 1 tsp. Dried Oregano 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 dash of Pepper (to taste) In a small bowl, mix mustard, salt, egg and vinegar Add oil one drop at a time, beating constantly, until about one-third of the oil have been added. Slowly beat in remaining oil and lemon juice. Stir in minced garlic, oregano, Worcestershire sauce. Add pepper. Refrigerate mixture. Makes about 1 1/4 cups. Greek Salad Dressing 1 tablespoon minced fresh dill leaves 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley leaves 1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme leaves 1 cup plain yogurt 2 tablespoons minced garlic 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon (kosher) salt 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper 1 1/2 cups extra-virgin olive oil Sugar to taste.
