Default Home made bacon(again), freezing

Until now any bacon destined to be frozen I have made with fresh pork.

I have also made bacon from frozen pork but have always consumed it
soon thereafter ( try fighting off the hordes ! it doesnt last long )

Hypothetically :-
If I made extra/surplus bacon from a frozen joint could it then be
refrozen ?

Discuss please ,,,

I would like to add:

Hypothetically, the brine/cure should kill any bugs.

I would like to add:

Can't help any more re bacon.

When I was litle and making pastry in a little bowl across the table
from Mum who was doing the weekly bake[1] I used to complain when we
added water to the mix that it made my fingers "all clarty".

[1] this frequently included egg and bacon pasty (which was actually
made in a baking tray) pastry base, pieces of bacon and savoury egg
custard, pastry top. Lrge portions of this would be sent out to the
workers at haytime, harvest and on thrashing (threshing) days as part
of the low-ance (corruption of allowance) - provided mid morning and
mid(ish) afternoon because such days involved vey hard work and
overtime so they did not get home for a cooked meal until late.

no worries ( nae bother lass)
you did better than most ;-)

That is my recollection of the usage, as well as mucky in the
discolouration or muddy sense
but not in the 'off' or decaying sense

oops, I pressed "send" too early !

in our case lawance
to rhyme with owwww !

So I'm told, but the times of getting up and the times of meals, and
what they are called, could lead to a longer discussion than that upon
bacon ;-!)

The message from Elaine Jones <elaine@cae-coed.zetnet.co.uk> contains
these words:

Down home, Granny used to make a 'bacon and egg plate cake' and
very nice it was too! Just shortcrust pastry, on a dinner plate
rashers of bacon and three or four eggs broken on the top, then
the top crust put in place, trimmed around the edges, and baked.

Walt might be familiar with it, as I've never seen it made outwith
the Borders...

Yes in the same way cooked meat from a previously frozen joint can be
frozen.
